    1. Team AY says

Kindly, visit the office of revenue department. You will have to submit death certificate of your father and submit your relation proof. The property is transferred to all legal heirs. In case you want to transfer the entire land in your name, you will have to take NOCs from rest of the legal heirs. You can also take help of an advocate in your area.

  21. Vinodh says

    Team,

Are these records necessary enough to purchase an agricultural land in TN ? Because most of the TXN’s are based on these documents rather on mother documents and transfer of title ( or title deed ).

    Thank you.

    1. Team AY says

      Hi Vinodh

Land Records are necessary to confirm the title and ownership.
Once, that is confirmed, you can enter into a sale deed and register it.
Then, finally get the mutation done in your name.

      Hope it clears your doubt.

  22. Viswa says

    1. Team AY says

First you need to get the mutation of your land done by visiting the local Revenue Department office. Then only revenue records will show your details.
